Hard pedal - no brakes

Has anyone had any issues with a hard brake and no brakes pedal after spinning the rear tires? For instance, if it’s been raining and my rear spins when taking off, if I have to jump on the brakes quickly I don’t have any... just a hard pedal for a second before it actually compressed and gives me brake. Didn’t know if this was an antilock brake issue or something else all together?

Sounds like a sticking valve in the ABS unit--blocking fluid flow.
