Gunk in taillight sockets

Never as long as the grease still covered the connections. Being light-bodied grease, it's easily wiped off (whether you mean to or not.)

I know a lot of people hate these types of 90's accessories. I seem to love a lot of the 90's stuff that everyone hates nowadays, lol.
