I recently bought a '96 Chevy Tahoe from a British guy. The car lacked quite some maintenance and love, so I try to rebuild it step by step as good as possible. Since I might need some tips here and there, I signed up to this forum.

I'm located in Düsseldorf which is in the western part of Germany near to Netherlands. It is about 40km north of Cologne.

The previous owner 'tweaked' a lot on his car so my first task is to restore the electric system to its stock condition as good as possible to make it more predictable...

I was stationed in Germany 1973-1974 at McCully Barracks in Mainz/Wackernheim, close enough to Frankfurt to be able to catch some great concerts, including The Rolling Stones!
