I have figure out all I want to get done on the thing by the time I start school next year. List is:

Toolbox
Chassis saver
recover seat
new carpet
new interior plastic
new dash
touchscreen
subwoofer
Smooth center caps
new rear bumper
bed line tailgate
Paint
new brake light
Dash speakers
exhaust
floor mats
pedal pads
rear view/door mirrors

I am absolutely not half butting anything on this truck. Nearly a complete resto for a high schooler lol

And for those of you that have done it, how easy/hard is bed removal on these trucks?

On my long bed, it was like 8 bolts I think. Not hard at all. Worst part was years of mudding coming back to haunt me. All kinds of crud in the eyeballs.

Not hard at all. Just need a couple homies to help lift it off the truck. All the bolts are pretty easy to get to.

Thanks guys. I am thinking I will take the bed off to apply the chassis saver. My dad told me to just pressure wash the frame and rattle can it but is now on the chassis saver train.

Man when I tell you the starter broke, I mean that sucker broke. I got off my shift at work and went out to go home, and truck wouldn’t start. Dad came and helped me out and I drove it home and we pulled the starter out this morning and are putting the new one in tomorrow. Tint had to wait, and I now have no clue when I’m getting it. Not that big of a deal

I finally did it. I found a toolbox. Family friend spotted it in Honea Path, SC and picked it up for $70!!! I will load up pics tomorrow. Merry Christmas to y'all!
