Here is some trailering capacity info on pre-1996 C/K pickups:

1991: https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...its/chevrolet-trucks/1991-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf starting at page 109 towing capacities are listed

1992: https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...its/chevrolet-trucks/1992-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf starting at page 43

1993: https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...its/chevrolet-trucks/1993-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf starting at page 4 the model selection summary contains towing information, though it does not denote for which gear ratio, it just says "when properly equipped"

1994: https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...its/chevrolet-trucks/1994-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf, pages 61-64. Similar to 1993

1995: https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...its/chevrolet-trucks/1995-Chevrolet-Truck.pdf, starts at page 5. same as 93 and 4.

The 88-90 information is not there. The table of contents of each suggests there is a trailering section but they all end before that section.
