Interesting! is the 8F0 listed in the RPO codes in the glovebox? I can see the mounting holes in the bumper are covered with some sort of carriage bolt maybe. Oddly enough, many people did not like the Grill guard and requested the dealership to remove them. I would say from my experience, the girll guard is typically a 50/50 chance of being on one. I've seen just as many with the guard as without.

April of '99 is extremely early for a 2000 model. I'm curious as to what your production number is in your vin. April '99 is the earliest i've seen in this model...Very cool! There is a decal on your driver door that should have a date, does it also say April '99?

Agreed that April seems very early.

Last 6 digits of the VIN is 150398.

So it does appear that it was ordered without the brush guard, interesting indeed!

Hopefully others will post their last 6, itd be interesting if we could get a rough estimate of production numbers…

But the descending numbers between yours and mine is kinda confusing. I was under the impression that the last 6 were the production sequence, meaning mine should be a higher number than yours since it was built in a later month…?

Very strange. I'm under the same impression, and that just makes things more confusing.

The 2000 Z71, IMO is the best looking version. Been looking for one for a while now and just haven't found one I'm willing to pull the trigger on yet...
