GMC vs Chevy grill

I picked up a new grill for my 1500.it is a gmc grill but my truck is a Chevy trim.the side blinkers/reflectors do not fit the new grill does anybody have a part number/year range or any suggestions on how to get the correct GMC lights

There are four different styles of the quad corner markers. '88-'93 Chevy, '88-'93 GMC, '94+ Chevy and '94+ GMC. None of them interchange. You'll need a set of corners for whatever year of GMC grille you used.

Go great haha I got the grill in a parts lot.not sure what year it was og for is there any other differences in the shape of the grill Etc. that might help me narrow it down

That's '94+ GMC for sure.

I just did some looking and I think I was a little mixed up about the earlier GMC corners. It looks like they were all single piece and taller, only one per side. So if it's a GMC grille and has four corner markers it should be a '94+.

OK that’s what I thought. I figured you knew something different who am I to ask for help and then correct ha ha so the only difference and 94+ is GMC and Chevy looks like the Chevy is a bit larger

The '94+ GMC corners are smaller and shaped a little differently than the '94+ Chevy ones, and the pre-'94 quad Chevy corners are different from both '94+ quad styles. I'm not sure how exactly as both of my trucks are '97s so I've never had any hands on experience with the earlier grilles.

I swear I used to have a picture of the '94+ Chevy and GMC corners side by side showing the differences but I can't find it now. You can kind of see it comparing these two pictures of my trucks though.

Yes it is noticeable they are more narrow especially the top one. Thanks again for the help I’ll post a picture when it’s all done
