Found this obs c1500 WT. Don't know the specs other than it is an auto and has been parked for several months.
The back story is the owner was an electrician who passed away and the surviving spouse isn't really sure what to do with it.
If I had the space I would prob try to buy it...just looks like a cool project.

probably a 4.3 V6 or the 305... but the plus is you can drop anything you want in there. With that grill probably has a vinyl floor with no power windows... would be a fun truck to mod

Yes on the vinyl floor and manual windows. It had a tan interior which I thought was different was expecting red.

Just assumed red trucks had red interior most the time?
Wish we weren't in such a hurry, would have gotten more info, at least year & engine specs. It definitely was a base model work truck. The bench seat had the head rests so that might help narrow down the year?
Crazy how trendy obs pickups are now!

That's the early style grille so that and the headrests tell me 90-93.... TBI motor then, easier to work on but not as much power as a Vortec. Looks like it's got plenty of potential though, hope someone gets it.

My original thoughts were parts truck for my 91 but would hate to tear up a complete truck just to replace old parts with more old parts.
As much as I dig the hot rod potential I also have no need for a 2wd PU truck.
If any one is interested in it I can help put them in contact with the owners but other than that I'm not looking to get myself involved.
Feel bad for the lady who lost her husband and seems like a cool project though!

I stand corrected! That's the later style grille... that's what happens when you don't have a good picture lol.
If I had money and it was a little closer to Texas... hopefully someone will get it that can do something with it. Looks like a good starting point.
