I was not able to solve the issue and took the truck to a trusted garage. In the end they pulled the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump. The brand new one I installed was defective and that was behind the problem. I asked them if it was installed incorrectly (by me) and they said no, it was fine. It was simply a bad piece and when replaced, the truck fired right up.

That is so frustrating to get a bad "new "part! It's happened to me in the past and I was banging my head trying to figure it out. Glad you got it running!

Gotta love aftermarket part quality these days, at an all-time low despite already being terrible for years.
