A front-end rebuild would take me a month. Or two. Who am I kidding. I put upper ball joints in the Plow Truck two years ago, one lower last summer, and I'm making plans to do the fourth...some day soon, which probably means next summer.

I thought "tomorrow" seemed suspicious.
Yeah, I figured if it's done end of the week or early next, I'll be happy. I have another truck, so I'd rather it get done with care than rushed.

Sheesh, I was told it will now be done at the end of the week. They haven't even started on it as of this morning. It's alright because I know they are busy and I work in service and used to be a tech, so I completely understand....but the waiting LOL...hopefully Friday I'll be picking it up.

Are you SURE you want to do business with people who've lied to you?
Well, in all fairness, they didn't "lie"....I understand they only have 3 techs and a TON of work. Hell, they were the first to even give me a quote and look at the truck. I called 3 other places who never even got back to me after they said "I'll call at the end of the day with an estimate*. Its just the times we are in, whether I like it or not. I dropped it off under the assumption they would get to it within a few days. That was two weeks ago. I'll call tomorrow and see if this week is really doable and if not, I may just be stuck. I am not sure what I'll do yet. I may pick it up and find some one within a few hours and drive it there.

Small update....supposed to be done by Friday. They started on it today. I'm good. I work in the industry and understand how hard it is to find good workers, etc....hopefully all goes smoothly.

I went by there at lunch today. It's looking good so far. Lots of pretty green parts and shiny stuff now sitting in place of the old. It should be sent to alignment tomorrow and ready for pickup by Friday.
