Good news and bad news….. good news is the cruise does work! Bad news is I am once again confirmed as an idiot. I was assuming cruise worked over 25mph and was testing it at like 30-35 when it didn’t work. Hit the highway to the forest today and it works great at 55!

Definitely no indicator which bugs the crap out of me, seems unsafe even. But it’s working great and I’m thrilled.

Also had a fantastic day in the truck hitting some hiking trails and then paddling around some spring fed ponds and catching some small blue gill. It rained all day but they just ment I wasn’t dying of heat stroke. Truck did fantastic as always except I did do a stupid thing and clicked the locker on at like 35mph which resulted in some clicking noises as the locking tabs tried to connect. I quickly smacked it into neutral and let it cost to a quick stop as I was in sand. It locked up and on I went, I guess I should probably only lock and unlock when stopped.

A tad disappointed in the lack of MPG gain with the new spider and new style injectors along with the intake reseal. I was averaging I think 13.5 mixed driving before I did the upgrades and last tank was 10mpg which had a lot of idling likely the cause of the horrid mpg. This tank is 12.8 but was mostly 45-60mph back road cruising. A mile maybe two of 4x4ing and absolutely no idling I was super strict to shut it off. I’m running another can of B12 in the gas tank along with some 87oct. I’ll get the mpg from this tank and maybe try a tank of 93 for funzies.

Did you replace o2 sensors? I think 13 mpg is mostly acceptable anyway. Likely wasn’t much if any better when new.

Your darn right I don’t! 13 isn’t really that bad, just kinda annoyed everything I have gets 13-14
Back when I had my CCSB, I drove a total of 12mi back and forth to work every day and every week it cost me roughly $100-$120. This was also in 2020 Oklahoma so our gas was dirt cheap. Trying to save for a house and other things didn’t help me in my decision to get rid of her. I still miss it every day….
