I have a NOS FPR I can sell, have 2 actually. When I put my spider on, it will get one of those. I’ve been hearing of cheap new FPR’s failing.

yes. I am working on the memory of you just replacing the usual suspects... injectors/fpr/fpr vac line/fuel filter.

edit... my fpr means fuel pressure regulator not fuel pump relay

Not sure why I thought relay when you said FPR. But I do have a new relay on the way , never hurts to have a spare, especially on a 30yo truck.

I have not done the filter since I got it, might do that since I do have a spare. But iirc the tank looked great when I did the pump.

No, you had it right originally. I was talking about the relay since it is so random and you had just done the injectors. I think @Caman96 linked to a nos relay and called it a fpr. Then there were other references to fpr, but meaning the regulator. Just trying to be clear but still managed to garble it up. LOL

Ok cool, then there’s a small chance that’s it lol.

I did notice today that when it’s long cranking if I touch the throttle it immediately fires off.

Vortec fuel pump relay is like $10 so I would look at that too. If it's getting warmer than the other relays, it's probably bad. You can swap in any of the other 5 pin relays to see if any changes occur.....

I think it's the forum promoting Amazon/Ebay links saying you're a "such and such associate" even if you're not; I've noticed quite a few links posted regarding external sales places having a similar message at the bottom.
