Flooded!

Howdy,

A good friend gave me his 1993 k1500 Blazer. It was flooded during Harvey. Vehicle has 33 inch tires and a 3 inch or so body lift and the water was above the taillights. He did multiple oil changes but never really put it back on the road. He was going to redo it for his teenage son, but the son had zero interest. I am in the process of cleaning grounds and I rebuilt the TBI with new injectors. I will be looking for wiring diagrams also because they started putting a 1996 dash in it.

No not flooded...."washed", LOL.

Has it run at all since the flood? I wonder if the fuel tank could have water in it.

I would change all the fluids in the drivetrain...the axles have vents that would have been underwater.

as stated, make sure all of the fluids have been changed, some might need to be a couple of times.
