That is the SM465 floor cover, so it was originally a 4 speed. It was definitely swapped, although that is an aftermarket shifter. If you have a super low 1st gear then you likely have the NV4500, otherwise probably something else.
First gear is not granny; second gear wouldn't work well for starting from a start.

That looks like the NV3500 or maybe one of the earlier versions that look the same. It’s an OK transmission but not really made for heavy duty use. If you plan to tow a lot or up the performance of the engine I would recommend a stronger transmission
Thanks for the information. I have no plans for serious hauling. Here is another view from the left rear. I also included a view of the glovebox codes'
