I've seen ball bats and the pre made tools really wreck stuff, buckle panels. I roll them much like Sewlow describes. Hammer and dolly and work it back and forth several times a little at a time. Sometimes a metal dolly wrapped in several layers of masking tape, sometimes a wood block or rubber dollies like used for door skinning. Various sized ball peen hammers, door skin hammer, body hammers.
