Hello,

I've got a 95 with the am/fm radio, can I swap in a CD unit from any 95-99?

Yes, but why would you want to. If your going through the trouble of a stereo swap, put in a blue tooth, I love mine, just saying. The options out there are almost endless. Check out cruchfield, just click the link.

I bet I could get a junkyard unit for less than 50 bucks. There easy ish to pull. The units with Bluetooth are like 200 bucks

I paid about $125 for my Pioneer blue tooth, and that was 4 years ago. Prices have come done sence then.

I way prefer the look of the factory unit. There's a few people that put Bluetooth units in

No problem, to each there own. The OE systems all interchange if it has the same style of dash.

If you want the best of both worlds, there are people who upgrade the factory CD units to include Bluetooth functions. You may be able to find them cheaper, this is just the first example I found on eBay.

There's also the RetroSound Newport, which has no CD player but sports a lot of other cool modern options like Bluetooth and amplifier pre-outs. It uses the entire opening in the dash and is a pretty decent match to the rest of the instruments.

To answer the question though, I believe you should be able to swap in a CD unit with no issues. I've never tried personally but I don't see any reason that it wouldn't work.
