The steering box has a leak, so I figured on just replacing it. Had to read this thread a couple of times then bounce back and forth to see what parts Caman96 was referring to. I was thinking about rebuilding the front end anyways (got nothing else to do) I like the direction he went and I already have ordered some of the parts as I followed along. Video was great help. Replacing the entire shaft? I'll look into it.How about replacing the shaft, and ADJUSTING the two items on the steering gear?
Wild Guess: Correctly adjusting an OEM steering box gets you better results than a production-line "rebuilt" box; costs nothing but your time and enough PS fluid to flush the old stuff out.
