I have a 2000 k2500HD with 7.4 vortec.
3 weeks ago while leaving work, like 5 miles away, I down shifted, nv4500 manual, to get into the on ramp of a highway. Immediate misfire, shaking, sputtering, loss of power, and became a massive fuel dumper as well. No engine light, throwing passenger side running lean.
Since then, new plugs, cables, TPS, both upper and lower intake gaskets, and Bosch 4 hole fuel injectors, had the 6hole Rochester, and still nothing is resolved
I beat on both catalytic converters til it looked like it was raining glitter. Unhooked the right pre cat 02 sensor, ran same.
Still nothing worked. Need help. She is getting expensive.
