Exhaust interchange?

Hey guys. I was wondering if the pipes coming from the manifolds off of a vortec truck could be used on a tbi truck?
The vortec pipes are duals would have to plug the extra o2 bungs.
Just wondering if there is any other problems .

They will work just fine as long as you are trying to put them on a GMT400 TBI truck.

Are the exhaust manifolds the same?

They are not the same but they exit at the same angle and location, have the same bolt pattern and are the same 2.25". I have used Vortec manifolds on the driver side of TBI trucks with the GMPP TBI Vortec intake for smog compliance.

What about the o2 only being in one of pipes ? Will it mess up the readings ?

No the early trucks only had one O2 sensor in the driver side manifold

Yeah. My 88 was that way.
