Engine temperature

Wondering of this is normal my truck never gets over the 160 mark . Or the second slash on the temperature reading . Is this normal because when I owned a 2002 Chevy half ton my truck always ran a 210 all the time. I replaced the thermostat I replaced the temperature sensor all that and it's still only reading 160 I'm wondering if this is normal

I guess the consensus is that it’s the gauge that reads off. Wouldn’t hurt to verify actual temperature but it’s probably fine. Read this.

Point an infrared thermometer at the water neck / other places and see how close it is.
