I have a 97' k1500 z71 standard cab short bed with a 5.7L vortec that i am trying to fix up for a daily i noticed after purchasing the truck that the engine harness and headlight harness had significant wire damage due to rats the damage is enough to make repairing it not the ideal coarse of action i am in search of a stock wire harness for this truck that is in fair shape I've checked all my you pull its and used auto parts yards and Facebook marketplace part trucks in my area with no luck i figured this would be my last hope before trying to buy new if anyone has any leads , info, or buy chance one laying around that would fit it would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

And keep the match as close as possible to your year, model, equipment. There are changes throughout the years - some minor, some major. 1996-1997 would probably be your best bet, and small block, same transmission. 1998 brings some changes but is still "close" enough you could use your old harness as a model and make necessary changes.

Anything older than 1996 will be non-Vortec and totally useless other than for scrap wire..

At the time of doing mine, I looked at car-part.com as suggested as well as others but no one had one in stock. Ended up just having to cut and splice everything.

I hate electrical stuff......

Would you be willing to sell ??
I’ll sell it to you.
It will be a couple of days before I get to it.
Temps have been in the negatives the past couple of days and snow on the ground.
I will have to look it over and send pics.
I think there is a ground wire or two that might be messed up.
IIRC, it’s out of a 96 z71.
