x3, my 96 and 97 both had thermals, plan on upgrading my 96 to electric, takes at about 10 seconds to stop flashing. My 98, however, came with an electric actuator from the factory.

Thanks for the part number on that wiring harness @smokymtn65 , I will have to get one ordered before the snow flies.

This weekend I saw my friend who has an 88 K2500. Its a very well worn in truck that has spent most of its days hard at work on his Montana ranch. It’s a full work truck in every sense. His has a thermal actuator which has never failed him, not once. If you saw his truck you would think I’m lying. Go figure
