I'm still prepping my Farm truck for the body off "restore".
Is there a slick way to remove the heavy flatbed by myself?
Unbolting it, is not the issue, pulling it from the frame and putting it back on is.

I'm thinking of backing it back out of the shed onto a platform made of scrap wood, just to make the truck sit higher, say about 6".
Then build a wooden stand/frame supporting the bed and simply drive away leaving the bed up in the air in the yard.
Later, after "restore", remove platform, drive under the bed and drop it the 6" onto the frame. (maybe 3" - that is alot of weight to drop)

Just keep in mind, your springs will raise the truck as you remove that weight. You may need more clearance or let the air out of your tires.
