Tested 4x4 operation with my e38/t42 computer swap and it worked. Had to get os loaded on e38 and t42 ecu that is for a gm truck with NQG rpo code. One vin number of such a truck is 1GCEK14018E146955. Loaded e38/t42 with the program using gm software and using that vin number will get the right ecu base. Then a segment swap for 4l80e or 4l60e has to be done. That then makes ECU pins 2 and 3 compatible with 4x4 engage and low signals from GMT400. e38/t42 have to be a matching set as well. Other option is getting a program for a truck that already came with NQG(manual transfer case) and the right transmisson.

4WD Low Signal is pin 2 on J1
Axle Switch Signal is pin 3 on J1

From testing it looks like might actually be able to use pin 71 for sending 128k signal to ABS, but have not verified yet.
