Got these from LMC. Am i missing something that the bolts, springs etc. are visible?

Pretty much the way they look. Here's my 88 with the grille removed.

you got some shield between them. now i see it in the parts diagram.

Nope, just the housings. Again this is on my 88, YMMV.

His or mine? I've had this truck for almost 20 years and it never had anything between the lights. Maybe it changed in 89 or there's an after market kit with it?
