I recently installed a set of dual electric fans that I got out of a 93 Camaro. Using the painless performance relay kit 30103 I believe. The relay kit I bought runs off a thermostatic sending unit that cuts on at 185 degrees and turns off at 175 degrees. 1. I’m having a problem finding an ignition controlled 12v switched power that will kill power to the fans when the key is turned off. Tried a few different fuses in the under hood box but most are hot even with the power off.
2. Everything went well but I didn’t even consider the A/c. I would like one fan to kick on when the compressor kicks on too. Is there a way to get this to work without having to reprogram my PCM to work with my ac or is that the easiest way to do it?

Here is the relay diagram that came with relay. Forgot to mention the fans will stay on until the engine is cooled down after I turn off the truck

I have also seen the auxiliary condenser fan that some of the 2500s come with, would it be a good idea to just add one up front to help the ac instead of changing up the wiring I already have with the dual fans or is that just doing too much? I already checked and I don’t have a pigtail by the Condenser for that fan so I would have to add wiring and a relay most likely.

It gets tricky because your fan switch controls the ground for the fan relay. If your temperature switch were wired into the hot side of the relay coil, you could tap the compressor clutch in parallel to the fan switch, but with a diode to prevent your fan switch from engaging your compressor.

...but since the fan switch controls the ground...

You'll need to run a second relay tapped off the compressor clutch circuit parallel to your Painless kit.
