On my old W/H my low beams were on 24/7 for the second the ignition was on battery, I ripped that one out and put in another for reasons I wanted to know if it's normal for the low beams to be on only when the cab lights were on, if not what could be a fix for it?

Any ideas?

Having trouble understanding what you're asking. Your daytime running lights only come on when the cab lights are on? The interior lights or cargo light?

So I have a factory switch for the interior and exterior light, before my Day time running lights would be on without the activation of the the switch but now they're only on when I turn my cab lights on

What did you rip out? Your illumination control switch? When you say "when the cab lights are on", what do you mean? Is that only when the lighting switch is in the on position? Or do your interior lights literally have to be on for the low beams to work?

It sounds to me like something you've done has broken the DRL circuit. Not sure where or how.

Your post is confusingly worded. If you spend a few minutes better explaining exactly what you mean, maybe we can help you more easily.

I hope this video helped I don't really know how to explain it well over text, The original wire harness was removed because everything was wired in to the plow module even the original wire harness The replacement is a complete replacement I didn't splice any wires only thing I did was unplug from the fuse box and plugged the new replacement back in

Ok I see, your DRLs are not coming on but headlights still work manually. And the light on the cab roof is wired to the interior lights. But if you close the door and turn the headlight switch to on nothing happens?

The video does help. That makes the problem much clearer. Where did you source the replacement harness from? Could it be defective?
Well I should have clarified new to me, my friends uncle is really into the GMT400 platform he pulled one off of one of his trucks don't know what the Y/M/M is though but it didn't have the service grill since I have the plugs for the high and low beams
