Got a question for you: I was told recently that Canada has passed some new regulations that bar any vehicles older than M/Y 2001 from being driven and registered....true or BS? Thanks!
Not that I'm aware of. That would be HUGE news. And I live in what would be considered the Texas of Canada. If they tried that here, we would probably have the same reaction as our Lonestar friends would!!!

Edit.....just looked it up because I was about to lose my $hit!!! It was a "deep fake" video someone put out a few days ago.

You almost cost me a night's sleep!!! Lol

Got the other head on after new trunnions installed.

Then the front cover.

Crank pulley on, lots of fun by yourself!!! LOL
Managed to get a breaker bar jammed between the pulley and the head to hold it, then 235ft lbs of torque!!! I'm 160lbs on a good day!!! LOL

Then painted up the valve cover bolts, and installed new seals on them. And installed the covers.

Then the really expensive knock sensors and harness and valley pan with new seals. Gooped up around them so hopefully no water makes its way in there.

So ya, that's where I stop assembling for a while. Have to figure out what brackets to use for the accessories. Wanna (need) to keep the A/C plus eventually hanging a turbo off there, so I have some research to do.

No sense bolting the intake on, as I plan on getting a lifting plate for the install.

Have to get new starter and power steering pump. This one has hydro boost, not sure I want to get a pump with that. BUT, I probably will and just plug off those ports, in case I eventually want to go with a hydro brake system.

Will start cleaning up the remaining parts like coil packs etc, as they are all covered in oil and grime. But that's for another day/weekend.

So here it is, in all it's glory!!! LOL
