Hello all, I'm new to the site. But I've been reading a ton of threads and have gotten a lot of good info. So I decided to join.
I just recently bought a 1992 k1500. It's currently getting the front suspension replaced bc it looked it has never been replaced
Anyway. The speakers and radio suck in it. I was wondering what would be a good speaker for the dash and in the side. 8 know 4x6 is slim pickings. And I was wondering if a double din stereo/receiver can go
Any suggestions will be much appreciated

Yes a double DIN can go in, but it involves cutting out the lower part of the dash to make it work.....unless you find a single din radio with a double DIN display. I believe Sony makes some, but are pretty pricey units.
And ya, 4x6's are not the best and can be hard to find, but spend more $$$ and get better quality ones if you can. And then toss a sub in and be happy.
