Our factory flat domes i feel leave a lot to be desired. I dunno if its been covered but just so anyone that wants a change knows u can use a suburban dome but it has to be the rear dome. 2nd row hangs down from the headliner and mount holes dont line up. Leaves an ugly gap at the rear of the housing. Ill try to take some pics for comparison so everyone can see the difference And if anyone is lookin for em ive let hobbs and cokeman know since they seem to be the go to guys for junkyard parts. Plus this looks really good with whichever factory OHC u go with. The wiring i wont get into cuz i hate electronics and dont want to give bad info.

I did this in my 94 Blazer. I just redrilled the holes and had no problem. they look good in it.

@Ethan Burdette - Can you show and/or explain how you wired the Suburban light into the truck?

I recently bought a K2500 Suburban for parts and also realized the rearmost dome light will bolt right into the factory location on my Silverado. The factory Silverado light only has two wires (white and orange) and the Suburban light has three (black, white, and red).

    Thanks for any advice.
