It is not your wording, it is the fact that you refuse to admit that the governor is what engages the clutch packs.

Yes, the governor engages the clutch packs, that's shown in the video I posted, but it was never the question. The question was about Amsoil affecting the operation when it's not a posi, not a precise description start to finish of how it works. The clutch packs are what do the doing and are effected by the friction modifiers, hence the TSB.

So what happens when the clutch packs get old and worn out? Can you get replacement parts for the diff?

I don't think they're considered serviceable, but I'm unsure on that. They don't have the best reputation any way, although I think most of that comes from the 10-bolt version. I'd love to have some sort of locker in my 14bff.
