Try using the old cap/new rotor or new cap/old rotor, sometimes the new parts are junk. 2.5 off is not going to cause a problem, cmp doesn't even set a code until it is 14 off.

After reading of a few users having success with this, I purchased the Dashcommand obd2 app and bought the additional PID for my 1999 Tahoe 5.7.

When I go to the pid page and add CMP offset for my truck it just will not work or display any data.

Does anybody know the steps to do this correctly? Thanks.

@hekg ---Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem reading the CMD RTD...Every other PID seems to work fine.
