Looks very nice! What kind of Head unit are you using? Looks like you have a fog light switch also. What lights do you have?

question for you guys with the Metra kit, does the top of the column hit the bezel when the wheel is tilted up? Mine hits pretty hard and is leaving scuffs on the top that can be seen when the wheel is down. I'm going to try and re position the bezel and see if I can resolve this.

Was wondering if anyone else is having this issue

deadbeat, did you have that mixed or is that an off the shelf paint?

Looks like it matches pretty good.

It matches better in person that the pics, that is a SEM paint that is pre mixed. The paint I had mixed matched horrible.

That is the Pioneer App Radio 4.

I have a 32" light bar hooked up to the top, Backup lights to the center Aux switch, and my bumper fog lights on the lower switch.

I installed a double din unit this week using this Metra kit. It works well. I need to pull it back out and fiddle with the fit just a bit to get it perfect. That will most likely wait until the temps get in the 70s. Somebody also forgot to hook up the mic for the hands free phone.

The instructions with the kit are less than basic when it comes to what needs to be cut away in the dash support structure. It would have been much easier if that was included. I looked at some pics online, and cut out what I saw another user cut. I had to go back and cut some more. I'll take pics when I go back in.

All in all, I'm very pleased.

All of the Metra Double-Din fascia installs I've seen use their provided cubby with the external lip.
Will the Metra fascia work with the standard CD delete cubby? I'd like to avoid having that external lip on the cubby.

Not sure if this is what you’re seeking. Both of the Metra bezels I’ve worked with came with both a pocket and a block-off plate which is what I used. My son opted for the pocket on his. I personally didn’t see much usefulness of the pocket.

The pocket slides in from the front and snaps in place while the delete plate is screwed in from behind. The unpainted one has been in storage in my garage since last summer when my son’s 96 went to the junkyard with a broken frame.
