He's a momma's boy for sure but gets super excited to see me when I get home from work. He's an all around happy baby.

Got the wheels back from blasting. They are currently still raw aluminum. Need warmer weather to paint them.

Got my TT steering wheel installed it is from a S-Line DSG transmission(dual clutched automatic)

I will be swapping in a DSG eventually.

Progress is progress right?

Had a warm day and not enough primer to do all the wheels. So I did the center caps, polished the PS headlight and installed the lamin-x on it too.

"New" hood, headlights w/ yellow lamin-x, grille, and bumper molding. I am completely unsure on the grille. I may be buying an OEM one soon.

I have the lower valance and all grilles, I just need to get the old one off and put the vents on.

This is friggin cool. Definitely sub'd to see more progress. It's a shame that the little bit I've worked on Volkswagens has made me dislike them so much. This thread makes me want one.

Does the yellow tint really help with seeing better, or is it more of a looks thing....it's France where it's been used most, right?
