Those are Dorman ones that I ordered from Rockauto. I was originally looking at a pair for LMC truck, but with the shipping it would have been outrageous.

I'm pretty confident with these, after all the truck will be a fair weather vehicle from now on so they shouldn't rust. They seem well built and the rustcoating on them seems pretty durable.
Thanks. I somehow managed to damage the driver side back plate on my truck (the inner raised lip caught the drum), so I'll be replacing mine at some point in the future.

Just came across this thread, what a transformation! Was stationed in the Sault for a few years and really enjoyed northern MI. I'm a pretty new owner of 98 K2500 myself (let go of my 1st get Tacoma playtoy and decided to go for a "grown up" truck!) but I'm lucky have almost no rust to speak of on mine, unlike the Taco that I nearly rebuilt the whole frame on. I tried searching the thread but didn't see you post... what size tires are you currently running? My 245 BFG's are coming off in the spring!

Got a photo of the truck on the hoist the other day. Looks like the front suspension is all disassembled for the most part. The lift should be going on soon :p

Yukon Grizzly gears along with the master overhaul kit are here too!!!

When you get a chance, post some photographs of the chassis rust on your truck. I need something to make me feel better about my truck.

It's going to look sooo good lifted.

I haven't saw the truck in person since I dropped it off a couple weeks ago so it may be awhile lol. I'd like to take a run up to check it out in the next few days.

Which lift did you end up going with? Also, i just subbed to the youtube channel. Are you on the west side of the state or east side?

Ended up going with a 6" BDS lift and bought Reallift torsion bar relocators to tuck the torsion bars up and out of the way.

Thanks for the sub! I'm actually in the center of the state toward Midland area.

Its nice seeing how the truck looks on video vs how it looked when the thread first started. Theres been a ton of progress and it looks great so far. I cant wait to see the lift on it.
