That 3.5" Dominator is pretty sharp.

I had a 3.5" from these guys, that was very good quality, on a square body years ago. http://www.up22.com/chevytruck.htm#top

They have a bubble hood I like.

hmm i see that their non race weight hood that does not use the front latch is 26lbs and the one that does is 34lbs so that is a decent amount lighter than a steel hood.

Always heard they are low quality. No actual experience with them. I worked at the local drag strip and had friends who had show cars too. That's who I'm getting my info from.

I like the wide cowl version of the Key Parts hood. Better proportions. Very subtle, but it makes a difference to me.
I think everything you get anymore is going to need massaging for proper fit.

Some trucks look awesome with a cowl, some trucks it just don't work at all. Guess it depends on the style, look the owner/builder is going for .

Personally I like the cowl hoods closer to the windshield like the 67-69 Camaro's

This The underside of mine. Adult induction reverse Cawl hood is completely functional. People ask if she starved for air but if you recall these trucks only came with one snorkel with the tube attached to them next to the battery. With induction coming off the windshield it sucking cold air right off the windshield wipers and let me tell you it is like night and day the sound coming out of that induction system. reminds me of old Georgia State patrol cars when they had secondaries the size of beer cans. She really talks now. The composite that I put on the underside of the hood kind of reminds me of alligator skin, you’re supposed to smooth it out completely yeah if you’re doing firewalls and for speakers but now when you’re looking at I think it looks cool.

I've got one of these, have some old cowl vent parts laying around that would make this functional to go along with the Tran-Am vents

I would punch a small child in the face for a factory-height hood with 3rd-Gen Camaro Z28/IROC hood louvers in it.

Could make something like this, not quite a reverse cowl, but def would add 15 hp.
