Has anyone seen a hood that eliminates the 2 grooves in the stock hood?

Sounds like a job for bondo..

Watched a guy "shave" the entire lower body line on a GMT400 with bondo. It came out like you might expect.

I'm not sure why but they bother me. No Bondo for sure! If my CDO (and alphabetical order like it SHOULD be) I'll weld patches in to cover it up!

I think a 4" cowl can still look good depending on how the rest of the build looks, but more than that is too much. I've seen them on Camaros and Mustangs that looked rifuckindiculous.

Novas wear a 4" cowl nicely

Might not be a cowl hood. It may be stock with the scoop bonded on. There are a bunch of fg companies that make all manner of scoops. Just a thought.http://up22.com/scoopw1.htm#PR-702

It looks like a VFN Wide Sonoco.
