Nice looking truck. That one ground for those features, without some sort of module/controller for the leds, might be an issue, since the leds always have a ground. That is a pickle.

Thanks, agreed for the module. Coiled up the wire for it and zip tied it for now.

I’ve got a similar project with my 2015 tow mirrors. I want the rear facing leds to work with the doors and cargo lamp. I bought a DEI micro relay that I hope will switch the grounds. I haven’t done anything with it in a bit, so I can’t report success or not. That is your issue though. You have a switched ground and a switched 12V+.

I agree. If you get it to work please let me know how you did it, like I said in previous post electrical is my nemesis.
