Containers for used oil filters?

I drain them as long as possible, fire them in the shop wood burner, and finally scrap the burnt carcass.

X2 for my shop also . And in summer season 5gal bucket to store them till cold season .

I would love to have a eood burner in the garage, but I dont have the time to put into all the research to do it with city and insurance approval.

I put my filters in zip lock bags and drop them off at the local Walmart hazardous waste cart along with the used oil.
