Has anyone tried these tires on a K3500 with out a lift. I am partial to tall skinny tires. These are the military type tires

Those are mighty expensive for something you probably won't be happy with.

Our trucks' suspensions are tuned for radials, and they make bias-plies ride like crap. That was something my Dad rediscovered when he "got a good deal" on some 7.00x15 Power King highway bias tires for his '81 C10 some years ago. Didn't take long before he went back to radials, price be damned.

That said, Tire Rack has 235/85R16s (about the same size as a 9.00x16, as I recall) in every type, most of which cost less than those Cokers. It's your money, but I'd stay with radials if it were my truck.

Those tires are 36" tall. Google them, some love some hate em. Most like em for the look, and go OK for offroad, but think on road they suck.
