I'm thinking about doing that too. Got an old set of driving lights. I had them on my old S10 Blazer. Tied into the backup light. Work really good.

How are they wired in? Are you pulling juice through a relay?

Great comment,care must be taken when adding lights to existing circuits. Modern LED lights do draw less amps but it is still wise to power added lights with a relay.
