Here is the fitment without the gasket. It is about impossible to get a nut started with the gasket in place. The gasket does fit against the seal housing ok. The gasket does not match the pan. The pictures without the gasket also emphasize the fitment issues between the housing and the pan.

The first thing that comes to mind is a grinder.

I tightened two nuts together on the stud and let some kroil soak into the hole all day. It spun out pretty easily.
