Ive asked the question before, but could never get a straight answer. I have a ‘98 F44 optioned 1/2 ton Silverado. Obviously the rear end is a light duty 3/4 ton rear end with larger drums, but are there any differences to the front calipers? Are they the same size as a normal 1/2 ton K1500 or is there a different size I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance

But is there a difference in size from an F44 optioned half ton and a regular 1/2 ton. That’s all I’m looking for

Your F44 truck has JB6 which are the 1.25" thick front rotors and the bigger rear drums. The difference between JB5 and JB6 are the rears. Fronts are the same as a regular non-F44 1500. The exception would be 1988-1990 regular cab 1500s equipped with standard brakes (not hd brakes) those got the 1" rotors instead of the 1.25" everybody else got.
