Bumper Interchangeability???

Definitely easier to take the grille and lower trim piece off when changing bumper.

I had pulled a smoothie bumper off of a 94 W/T in 2017 and I had a few alignment issues when putting it on my 98, so I can confirm it's not just the SUV's, and the bumper I bought was straight. Last summer, I bought an LMC paintable bumper and fit tons better than the factory bumper I had on before. It's sometimes a gamble with this type of stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Remove the park/signal lights, remove the grill, 7mm nut driver then remove the filler strip. The bottom of the grill has built-in plastic tabs that slide in and attach to the filler strip, and are easy to break.
