Broken 4x4 Dangit Chevy!!

Hey there! I’ve got a 95 k1500 4x4 obviously with the floor shifter. I replaced the actuator with the plastic motor variety but am still unable to get my orange light to come on and 4x4 to engage in either gear. Any other suggestions?

yes, it’s the new style electric one though.

this thread has the wiring diagram, might be an electrical issue. Fuse good?

The switch one top of the case is a good one to check. It's a spring loaded ball that opens a circuit when the case of placed in 4x4. That's what fixed mine. Just check if you have the 2 prong or 3 prong version before ordering anything.

doesn't one style actuator require a metal spacer thing inside the housing, and one doesn't?
