So my 96 Chevy 1500
Pickup? Suburban? Something else?

What is the brake code listed on the SPID sticker?

I have to press my foot all the way down for the truck to stop slowly and there have been times where the truck almost couldn’t brake in time

all the brake fluid except the reservoir is empty. How? I don’t know
Neither do I. I have NO idea how the brake fluid can be empty EXCEPT for the reservoir. Usually the reservoir is the first thing to go dry.

He’s got a 96 5.0 extra cab with JB5 brakes.
Found the issue :D both brakes lines from the front had a small leak. Friend of mines came over to save the day, I bought new lines, he replaced them and they’re working fine now. Now I can finally get my new cherry bomb muffler installed. I’ll post a clip later this week :3
