Hey all, new around here. I blew a brake line on the front of my 98 c2500 yesterday.

Someone i know has the front lines pre bent for a 97 k1500, does anyone know if the systems cross over from a half ton 4x4 to a 3/4 2wd?

If i buy a full pre-bent kit but im having trouble finding one for an eclb, they all seem to be for a rclb. Being that theres only 1 line running to the rear, i should just be able to flare a piece to span the extended cab portion, right?

Thanks for any help in advance

When I re-did all of my brake lines I was looking for pre-bent also because I was timid about bending them myself... but honestly, I found the poly-coated straight lines from a local auto parts store dont kink very easily even when you bend them with your fingers while under the vehicle. Since doing the truck I've done 3 other vehicles and I have never had one kink on me. And they are at least a quarter of the price of pre-bent lines (If you can even find pre-bent)

Buy the nickel-copper lines and bend them to match the old ones. I bought the ones below, depending on whether I need the 3/16 or the 1/4. These are easy to bend and never rust. Mine still look like they did the day I installed them.

I bought this flaring tool and still use it when needed, worked great.

Thanks for the replies! I work on school buses so im no stranger to brake lines or bending them, i was just thinking id save myself some time and effort. But its looking like i may just do what you suggested. Ive seen the ni-cop before on a few side jobs other people have done at work, very easy stuff to work with
