I picked up a Curt brake controller last week at a local Advance Auto that is closing down, 80% off !! I wasn't ready to add a brake controller yet to the truck, but for that deal I had to snag one. I've sat in the bench seat and tried to "feel" where the controller would feel most accessible, should the need to ever arise that I would need to hit the 'oh crap' emergency button.
My truck is an '88 so it's the very squared off shaped. Being a manual trans and I've adapted an OE folding cup holder to work on the dash, I'm only seeing a small space between the trans shifter and the ash tray as a place to mount this controller.
Where have you guys and gals mounted your brake controller?
