Borg 4401 to np261

I have a 1993 6.5TD with the 4l80e/4401

Hello all looking to swap out my 4401( PO kept it)
I have an NP261 here and an NV4500

First things first before the overhaul. I wanna test out the engine I recently got running. So my plan is to throw the 261 behind the 4l80e I have sitting here.
My guess is I’ll need to swap out the VSS plug, cut off the old 4401 plug and solder in the 261 plug.
I see three plugs under here. Which ones are which?

Looks to me like the first one,the more square one, is the vss
The second one ... is that the 4x engaged?
