Biggest Under bed c notch pfa

i am starting my build on a 1990 C-1500 sport. i have already removed the bed and front clip and plan on getting the cab off this weekend. i had to rig a engine hoist in the back of the truck to move the bed out of the front yard. with that being said getting the bed back on to measure would be a chore. i plan on building my c notch this weekend. does anyone know how much clearance we have from the top frame rail to the bottom of bed or how much above the frame rail i need to go for a comfortable ride with that drop. i plan on running a 6 maybe 7 in drop in the rear and want to relocate the shocks to a bar in between the c notches. thanks in advance

The cross members under the bed sit on top of the frame rails. So just measure them.

Why not just buy a large reklez under bed notch?

In the past I’ve welded square tubing on top of the frame rails and plated the sides then cut out for the notch. Pre camera phone so no pics
